It seems manufactures & retailers understand consumer rights.

posted on 26 April 2011

Having used his phone for only a month, Joan could not understand why the phone developed technical problems. It was so soon to have such problems with a new phone, especially an orange phone make. She had cared for her phone just like the retailer has told her during purchase, so she could not attribute the problem to her own fault. She was within the grace period the retailer had given her, so she took the phone back to the retailer for a free repair or an exchange. The retailer asked to be left with the phone for a few days, and on the third day, he called to let her know that the orange problem could not be fixed. She was supposed to go back to the retailer's shop for an exchange. She was happy though, because she did not loose any money when the phone developed problems. Manufacturers understood consumer rights better, thanks to the consumer rights protection law. What could she have done were she to loose both the phone and the money?

Be careful with what retailers promises, they may not be sure.

My cousin is always very careful about the items that he purchases even when he is purchasing for another person. I sent him the other day to buy an LG chocolate mobile phone for me and he could not buy such a make because he could not get an LG chocolate software in the market. Even when the retailer told him that the software was available in Lg's website, he could not agree to purchase the phone. This started way back when he had a bad experience with an item he purchased. He was lured into purchasing a TV set some times back with a promise of a remote control and an aerial for the TV in its package, only to get nothing other than the TV set after opening its package. When he went back to the retailer, he could not be assisted because they had not agreed on anything in case he did not find those gadgets in the TV's package. That is how he started mistrusting retailers. These days, he has to purchase only what he is seeking. Promises by retailers according to him are just that.

Common reasons why phone batteries stop charging after a while

posted on 8 March 2011

Phone batteries are not indestructible they are prone to damage very easily. It does not matter if it is a black berry or even if it is an iphone. If blackberry phone not charging. This could be caused by a lot of reasons. If you do not put your blackberry in its protective case, then be rest assured that harsh environments will damage the battery. The battery of a blackberry is made of lithium and if you expose this metal to either very cold conditions or even very hot conditions, then you are going to have a problem with the battery. Another thing about batteries that people are not aware is that the life of most batteries is a maximum of two years. And that is why at times they can refuse to charge if you have the phone for more than two years. You are going to need to replace it because the battery’s life is down. There are people who are constantly charging their phones and because of this, the cycle that the phone is supposed to endure wears down the battery.

Samsung manufacturers are very supportive to their customer base

posted on 9 February 2011

Having heard a number of times that customers are right at all times makes me think how important they are and if you have never thought about it just take it from this article today that you have no reason being in business if you will be in a position to treat your customers in the right way. There are times when you feel like telling off a rude customer but you should never let or allow feelings to get the better of you for the out come will not be good at all. Logic should always prevail and when you feel that you can not control your self, play a fool and move on to another client as you leave the one who is making you go mad to be served by another person in the company. This other person should be calm, cool and collected and you will be surprised that the client who was once fussing around is jovial. This keeps the reputation of your company intact and you will not lose out on any clients. This is what samsung support is about. They not only assist the users but also the retailers of their products. This has seen them grow from one level to the other.

Yahoo is a site with majority of people.98% people are using this site and its used every day by large numbers of people. It’s a site used in offices by emailing workers on activities of each day. Most employers don’t use words or they don’t have time to share with employees instead they share through yahoo. Those having computers with internet in offices they are advised to keep their accounts open so that in case of message or emergency they can be alerted. In case of complains in office they should not cause attention but to write to person in charge what is bothering them.Yahoo! The types of phone features many people are opting for these days

posted on 21 December 2010

Many people these days have the tendency of getting the type of phones that offer them every feature that has ever been introduced in the market. From a phone that takes good pictures, to one that can connect to the internet, and also phones that can be compatible with a memory card, and others go for phones that have both video players and also music players. A good example of such a phone is the Motorola droid that has all these features and more. Such motorolas that have all these features, also has a way in which you can link the phone to a computer in order to be able to update the software in your phone, or even add more data and files. You will need to have the universal serial bus that came with the phone so that you can be able to add and subtract files in and out of your phone. If you are encountering a problem while trying to do this, maybe the motorola phone not detected. Then you should counter check your universal serial bus to see if it is in good shape because that is where the problems normally lie.

She is not just an assistant but a care giver too

posted on 6 December 2010

I travel a lot because of my business demands. I like traveling with ease and that is why my assistant always helps me prepare for my trips, she always does a great job. She knows which seat I prefer and she also knows the type of food I eat while am flying to different destination and that is why she always arranges everything for me. She books the flight according to my preferences, and she also ensures that my dry cleaner has delivered my work attire in time. She even gets alerts when I get more miles thus she books my flights using my miles most of the time. I have never traveled outside Europe, an international meeting was coming up and I was the one who was going to represent my company. My assistant made sure my passport was to date, and I asked her how can i use my iphone in europe and she told me that was not going to be a problem. So she called my mobile provider which was apple and they unblocked my phone in the sense that it could be used outside Europe.

Being a Friend to Someone in Need

posted on 23 November 2010

When I bumped into my classmate, Ruby, this morning, I immediately noticed that she was not her old bubbly self. It was not hard to tell that she had a problem or was upset about something. I thought it was so serious considering that she could not even afford to smile anymore. I've always had this impression of Ruby being weird at times. In fact, I have caught her talking to herself a number of times. But I don't mind being her friend, because she's still a nice person and funny, too. Really, it's not hard to like her. So seeing her quite down, I took the initiative to ask her what was wrong. I didn't quite get a clear answer though, as she just told me that she had a problem with active x control. I wonder what she meant by what she said. But anyway, I continued to talk to her and just told her that if there was something I can do for her, that she shouldn't have second thoughts of approaching me. I feel that she needs a friend now, and I don't mind being that person.

An Old Model is Never Outdated in Performance

posted on 23 November 2010

Paulette owns an old GoldStar television set. She bought this set when she got her salary for her first job after getting into her first job. This was the symbol of how long she has been in the company that she has worked in. Though there are a lot of new models available in the market these days, she still prefers to watch her favorite shows in her old television set. After a few years, some parts of the television has started to be damaged. This has been a reason why she constantly takes the television set to the nearest service center. Now, her problem is the remote control. The remote has not been working very well for two weeks. The technician suggested that they should buy a new jumbo remote tv. But the only problem was how to connect jumbo remote to tv. She had to fix this problem at once since she didn't want to miss an episode of her favorite dramas. So, she took it back to the technician. This time, she bought the television set with the new jumbo remote that she bought from an electronics store.

Problem with my new speakers and the tvthe

posted on 14 November 2010

I am currently in the process of trying to get my new speakers connected up to my tv. They are a full 5.1 set and look a bit complicated to be honest. I have tried googling how to connect altec lansing speakers to tv but i could not find much help mainly because there are about 10 different sets the choose from. I have got the basics right i am sure but actually getting it all working seems to be my problem right now. I am getting sound from 2 of the speakers but nothing else. I have checked the tv settings and stuff and it all looks fine so i am not sure where i am going wrong with it. I am wondering if i need something separate to get them to work, like an amp or something or a receiver. I do not know enough about it though really. I suppose i could go into a local shop and ask but i did not want to confuse matters to be honest. I will press on.
