As a child, my family went on annual family vacations…or at least, tried to. What happened was that we went to the same places every year and eventually ended up getting bored. Feeling discouraged, our family stopped having our annual vacations together. I felt really bad about it for a while, until I realized that the reason was not that we did not enjoy spending time together anymore. Rather, it was that we grew tired of doing the same activities and going to the same places!
Does that ring a bell? If you find that your family vacations are starting to get old and a bit repetitive, you might be running out interesting family vacation ideas! If you don’t want this to happen to you and your family, try to spruce things up a bit. Ask each member something they’ve always wanted to do, but never had the chance to, and try to incorporate a bit of everyone’s input into your next vacation! By getting each member’s opinion, you can strike a compromise and come up with a vacation that everyone can enjoy!
