The level at which education is valued in different cultures varies a great deal. There are those cultures that do not think that the weaker sex does not have the right to be in school. Unlike females, males are being given the first option to be able to go to school. The only education that the females are given is how to make good wives and how to build and maintain homes for their families. As biased as this may see, it does happen in an occasional basis. This is changing though because there have been activists who have in turn made it their business to ensure that females are also given an opportunity to go to school. This has come with a lot of resistance from the public in such a way that the parents and guardians have refused to pay for the education of the girls. There are people who have come with such a way that they get donors who can in turn offer grants and bursaries for the sole purpose of the education of the girls. Because of this, the girls are also given an opportunity to learn just like their male counter parts, because of the selfless generous donors.
