Electrical problem is much common to older homes because older homes have old electrical wiring. When wiring is older it is also weaker because wire weakens with time and use. The more the electrical system is being used the more likely it is to become weak.
Fire is always the result of electrical over load and corrosive wiring system due to age. It is often advisable to seek the help of an electrician if hot electrical devices are being observed. The licensed electrician in due time will be able to arrest the problem right away because of their experience with all kinds of electrical issues that they have already met since the beginning of their profession.
