Giving My Brother a Dose of His Own Medicine

posted on 25 January 2012 | posted in Arts and Entertainment

I was complaining a lot when Joe came home. He asked me what was wrong and I told him how I resent being assigned to do a book report on a topic that was not of interest to me at all. Instead of being sympathetic, my brother would not stop teasing me about it. No matter how I asked him to shut up, he just would not listen. I was really disturbed and the pressure of coming up with a decent report got to me so I cried. When Joe saw me crying, that was the only time he stopped teasing me. Afraid that dad would see me in that condition, Joe tried to calm me down. He even promised to help me use the isbn book finder to get the material that I needed. I actually enjoyed seeing Joe panic at that time and so I did not stop crying. When dad came home and saw me, Joe knew right there and then that he was in trouble. Dad told him to apologize to me and since then, Joe didn't tease me as much.
