Industrialization and modernization has on one hand provided mankind with a multitude of facilities and comforts but on the darker side it has played havoc with the atmospheric conditions. Over the years we have witnessed tremendous alterations in climate. Man himself has been the sole cause of pollution. The major contributors in this pollution are the coal, oil and natural gas. Similarly nuclear energy is too likely to cause certain side effects. But there still lies a solution, the sun is shinning for years and years, inviting us to use its sunrays to our advantage. The solar panel - if used to generate energy - can lead us to a pure and clean environment with no by products to pollute the so friendly atmosphere. A lot of improvisation is still required to be done in generating solar energy, that is what is science's quest in the modern day. There lies another source, the wind providing us with a number of opportunities to make use of. A wind mill operated by wind is a source of clean energy with no side products. The challenege that lies ahead is to make better the living conditions by utilizing the solar and wind energy to the fullest, that if achieved, would no doubt be a quantum leap in the field of science.
