This has made my load so heavy. Working as a customer service representative is not an easy job. The calls come in for orders. No one likes to put on hold. People get right down nasty. I should not have done such a good job. If I had been a dead beat then I would have been laid off. You can collect unemployment benefits if you are laid off. You cannot collect unemployment benefits if you quit. I am about to tear my hair out right now. I complained to my manager about the work load. I even explained that if we do not get more people in our department we could lose customers. I was told to put in overtime to get things done. I don't mind a little overtime but I won't get out of work until late. I like to have dinner with my family at night. I told my boss that I will put in some overtime this week but she better hire back one of the laid off clerks or I am quitting and I don't care if I don't get unemployment benefits.
